Each media training workshop is "hands-on"
with as much practical interview experience as possible and we'll
help you to identify your strongest speakers. Who sounds compassionate,
who is best at "control", which speaker thrives in a studio
environment and which prefers the anonymity of the phone?
Starter Packs - for
spokesmen with little or no media experience. Each workshop includes
tutorials in the basics of handling journalists with lots of interview
opportunities and feedback. Our Agenda
shows you what happens in this day which works best for up to four
people.
Re-enforcer Courses
- These sessions work best six months after a basic training workshop.
They are intended to revisit some of the "do's and don'ts"
of dealing with journalists but the main emphasis is on further
practical interview experience with feedback to keep those skills
honed.
Refresher sessions
- Are exactly what it says on the tin. These are the next stage
for clients who have had some training previously and want to brush
up their interview skills, perhaps before a product launch or major
report which is going to attract lots of media interest.
Quick Fix - A situation
has come up where you need to respond quickly to the press and media.
You want to make sure that you are getting the right message across
and in the best possible way. In this two hour session we will work
with you to test your statements and to point out some of the pitfalls
and questions that you could face when briefing journalists. This
session is intended as an emergency, backup measure only for spokesmen
who have already been media trained.
DIY - Let's start
with a clean sheet of paper and build a workshop especially for
you.
24:7 - Our emergency
call out service, is for clients who want to make sure that we'll
always be available to support their urgent communications requirements
in the case of air accidents, train fatalities, factory explosions
etc.
The Party Line - The
whole point of giving interviews is to get your message through
to the people who matter to you - the business community, the government,
your existing or potential customers. When you have more than one
spokesman responding, they must all be singing from the same song
sheet. This session refines the message and explores ways of making
it "live".
