Laura is an international consultant in presentation, communications strategy & media training and also advises on crisis management, and leadership. She has been behind the development of some of the key messages out in the public arena over the past 10 years, based on a solid career in print and broadcast media, and comms/PR consultancy. As a lifecoach and mentor she also works on personal and leadership development programmes.
She has trained CEO’s/senior management, organisations and government bodies around the world including top level figures at Barclays Bank, Barclaycard, Experian, CEO of the British Red Cross, Land Securities, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloittes, Phillips and NXP, Lucent, BT. She also devised and ran an international communications training programme for the British Council’s senior executives over two years which was voted as the Council’s best training module.
Many key training & presentation issues, now taught by the IPR, have been developed by Laura during her media training work.
Laura’s own media background gives her an insight into the needs of an audience and how to make a message work, both in terms of content and delivery style, as well as ensuring with the PR team that any message is appropriate.
